A Blustery Day

Sunny with wind and cool temps. The wind started with rain last evening. Hubby said he had a nasty ride home. We definitely got more sleep/rest last night so I decided to make a hot breakfast to warm us up a bit. Hubby was able to get a hair cut and run a few errands before lunch. He had PT later in the afternoon and had a great session, getting his knee to bend 120 degrees. I hunted for a digital photo for my grandson. With over 20,000 pics on my phone and more on my laptop, it took two hours but I also deleted some unneeded photos so it was time well spent. Had some house chores to do and watched the Rittenhouse verdict. It was a quiet day for the most part. At some point, I went out to feed the birds and saw how these boundary marking grasses were fiercely blowing in the wind. Thought they would give you an idea about our blustery day. I love the grass fronds in the fall, so wispy. They belong to the neighbor so I can enjoy them without the work of keeping them trimmed. As shown in the background, the wind blew many leaves off the trees. Sure hope everyone has a restful weekend planned. Thanks for the visit. Take care folks. “I saw a tree dancing in the wind, and it said to me, ‘I’m not doing this to entertain you, but to remind you of what life is - a dance in the wind!” - Michael Bassey Johnson
