Chatsworth House

Spent today at Chatsworth House. The gardens are fabulous and there are miles of walks. It looked especially good as there was still a lot of snow lying around. The front stonework has been cleaned and the window frames regilded and it is spectacular. There are the most beautiful glasshouses with camellias and jasmine in full showy flower.
The garden is a joy to walk around as there are not only great water features but also an amazing collection of sculptures. We had a great day ending with a Chatsworth afternoon tea unfortunately with tea and not champagne as we were driving home. A great weekend was had by all.
