The last Rose of Summer

Cut these two red roses after one of the local pesky gulls wandered along the wall and started pecking at one. I am still amazed at the colour I still have in the garden. 
This afternoon had my Covid-19 booster shot, along with my flu jab, and popped up to Sue afterwards for promised cup of tea and a rocky road. My right arm which had the flu jab is a bit sore. My left arm feels ok for the moment. Had the Pfizer jab again.
