BOWING TO THE INEVITABLE 3/3

Now it's almost time to leave…
By the time we passed through the checkout, our trolly was filled with must-have items, gifts, decorations, chocolates and snacks.
I had to have a sit down as I watched the 'Total Due' figure rising before my eyes, until it finally stopped – at a figure just barely the right side of a King's Ransom.
All the staff smiled and waved as we made our way out to the car park – I'm not surprised: we are probably the sole reason they'll all get an Xmas Bonus this year!
