Free plants and a blood micro moon

We had a domestic morning and early afternoon - hubby baked four loaves of sourdough bread, while I made muesli and baked some savoury crackers and ginger biscuits. It took quite a while to clear up after all of that activity.

Mid-afternoon we went out for a slow walk to deliver a loaf of bread and some crackers and ginger biscuits to a walking friend who lives not far away. It was lovely to have a chat with her. On our walk back home we saw a decorated timber box hanging on the outside of a fence containing plants that were free to take. Hubby decided he’d quite like one to pop in the garden.

This evening we cooked dinner for my Mum and watched some TV with her. On our way home we saw the rare blood micro moon. It is the longest partial lunar eclipse that is fully visible from New Zealand in more than 800 years.

It’s Day 10 of Level 3 Step 2 and there are 198 confirmed cases of delta across the country. - 155 in Auckland, 3 in Northland, 30 in the Waikato, 2 in the Lakes area, 6 in the Bay of Plenty, 1 in Wairarapa and 1 in Christchurch.
