Scoooore!

(Or whatever you say in English when you score a goal in basketball).

Today it's 20 years from the opening of Finnish science centre Heureka at Tikkurila. Tickets were sold for the same price as 20 years ago, 50 Finnish Marks (you were even allowed to pay in old FIM) = 5,9 eur for entrance to the exhibitions (not including planetarium). Normally it's about 15 euros. And there was free cake and donuts! And some guys doing parkour outside in some kind of scientific playground as a part of the anniversary event.

There are a couple of rats which play basketball 3 times a day (about 10 minutes at time). Sometimes they jumped over the fence and left the game, and in such a case the other rat played alone for a while until the other one returned (or the animal keeper managed to persuade another rat to play). The rats were given boiled rice as a reward when they scored (except for when they scored an own goal).

There were also other interesting gadgets and though I visited Heureka about 1,5 years ago I stayed there for 3 hours. Now I'm planning to cook some arabian vegetable soup so I have something to eat tomorrow and soon it's already sleeping time.

Check Brainfreeze's hilarious blip project Rodney's new trouble if you haven't done that yet.
