Progress

I was pleasantly surprised to see the experts at work pollarding the Lime trees today & asked if I could take a photo. She was quite pleased & happy be photographed, has been working for 8 months doing tree surgery. Apparently her colleague is pollarding the trees for a 3rd time, 7 years apart (although I cannot believe it was 7 years since I noticed them doing this before).
I also learned that the trees are apparently over 200 years old, if the story she told me is true, as they appear in a 200 year old painting.
