Bread Ahead
After a delicious dinner last night at The Shed , a “ farm to fork” restaurant in Notting Hill, where we were treated well and got “ free “ fizz and candles on my cheese for my birthday, we went back to the hotel at Earls Court for the night.
This morning off to Sloane Square for a very informative and useful GF bread making session. We made this white tin loaf, ( photo) with a lovely crust yet soft texture inside; buckwheat cheese and rosemary straws and amaretti in just over 3 hours. Brilliant!
Then off to High Street Kensington for lunch at Dishoom, back to the hotel to collect the bags.
Finally we said goodbye and off home. What another lovely celebration being 60.
And as my train home was delayed I can claim compensation:) the birthday that keeps on giving!!
