Heron

Decided to have a day away and so Molly and I went to Peebles today. We had a good walk along the river to Niedpath Castle, across the old railway bridge and back along the opposite side of the river. As we headed back to the car park I spotted this heron sitting on a branch. It had the whole length of the river but chose to be close to the town.
