Belted Kingfisher

This will probably be the last balmy morning we will have for a few months, so I was really happy to spend it with WRPerry at Huntley Meadows.  We saw a bald eagle circling above and for a brief time a hawk landed in the brush (see extras) nearby. I managed to get a shot before it flew off with a very large grotesque fish head in its talons. It's just as well I didn't get that shot.  

This shot was a pleasant surprise, because I didn't think my shutter speed was fast enough to have captured it.
