A second day at the Council Offices, this time for the first day of a training course to gain a competency in private water supply sampling.  

The trainer was one of the best I've experienced; his humour engaged us and had many of us in stitches of laughter through much of the day.  We also learned while being entertained, a perfect combination.  If he could bottle his enthusiasm it could be shared with all of those trainers we all experience that make learning excruciating because of the lack of engagement with their audience.

On leaving at the end of the day I just had a chance to stop at the Shropshire Union Canal to capture this autumn scene.
