The Balneath Track

The spaniel and I have been left to our own devices today. Mrs L has gone off to West Sussex to walk with some university friends from more than forty years ago. Glorious morning walk over the fields and through the woods under clear blue skies. The Balneath Track skirts around the edge of Balneath Manor and for much of its length is lined with coppiced Hornbeam.
