Ripe for Christmas?

I think this has probably missed the boat when it comes to being ripe for Christmas.  However, I do like the textures on it.  Plants are so clever when it comes to shape and texture.

We were going to have a stay at home day today but Rob's brother and sister-in-law happened to be in the area so we went to the garden centre for lunch.  Very nice it was too.  We had a look in the bird hide but there was only a nuthatch, a robin and a tit to be seen.  Eve enjoyed walking round the garden as she is looking for planting ideas.  The garden plant shelves were all a bit bare - all gone into hibernation for the big freeze the Daily Express is telling us were are going to have soon.

Oh, this is a fig in case you were unsure...  I know because it had a label on it.
