Mayfield Garden near Oberon
We downed tools literally today because of a scheduled all day power outage at home.
Finally a perfect spring day was in store for a drive and lunch with a glass of wine out in the country side.
The landscape around Bathurst and Oberon was a green feast of grassland for the grazing sheep and cattle. The rivers and creeks were still raging rapids after the recent flooding.
We had visited Mayfield Garden last year in May and it was a total transformation of verdant colours and multi layers of prolific spring growth and texture and design.
A very impressive garden and we will be back on the tools at ours tomorrow.
WW wants to plant more roses now and roses she will have after being incredibly inspired today.
