Dawn breaking

This morning my Mother was tired from the effects of her Covid booster jab yesterday.  I encouraged her to take it easy, while I did some jobs for her, before I left for home this afternoon.
She has quite a large specimen of Viburnum x bodnantense 'Dawn' in her garden, and as it's just beginning to come into flower I thought it was deserving of featuring as my blip today. Usually it produces an abundance of highly scented flowers throughout the winter,so is a very useful plant to have.
This evening we had our uke jam at the local rugby club.  As we have the doors to the outside open, for ventilation, it was rather chilly....but we all enjoyed it. It is so good to be able to have these get togethers again.
