Accidental photo

The only photo I took today.

N left early this morning for Kings College Hospital for his DVT surgery. I made myself busy while I tried not to think about it... a trip to the chiropractor and then on to Smyths Toys superstore in Crayford for some of L’s Christmas and birthday presents.

I got the call around 3 to drive over and collect N (my dad picked up L from school) and so began a rather long car journey. Short in distance but looooong in time, especially at that time of day.

N is doing ok so far. He had an epidural rather than the expected general anaesthetic (which is better) and he’s sore and tired. We’re both relieved it’s done.
