Gulls galore

We had a walk by the Pool today. There were lots gulls there even though we’re 50 miles from the sea. The park has some beautiful beech trees which were looking their best in their autumn colours. 
Joe had tripped over someone on a scooter on the way out of school. He had no coat on and the teacher was carrying his backpack. I think he just wanted me to reassure him. They’d looked after him and the first aider had checked him. They were really nice to him. I asked him if he cried and he said just a bit. His lip was quivering a bit though. Even though we picked his sister up and dropped her off at home, Joe still wanted to come to our house for tea.
