You could hardly get a more marked contrast. There we were, bathed in November sunshine while Grangemouth seems to be getting the heavy end of a rain squall. As usual with Scottish weather, all you need do is wait ten minutes and all will be changed.
A bit of a Stop Press here, the big Longannet Lum is still standing but I gather demolition is scheduled for early December. I will be sad to see it go!
