Saughton Allotment update

Spent the afternoon down at our Saughton Allotment site - lots of general tidying jobs completed: probably the last grass-cut of the year; loads of cutting back; and a huge amount of leaf-collecting and general composting undertaken!

All looking very Autumnal - but several crops are still growing: brussel sprouts; leeks; garlic (just planted a few weeks ago); chard; and whilst some potatoes were dug up today, left a few rows in the ground for cropping at a later date :-)

Off to London, for a few days, tomorrow - back-blipping guaranteed by Sunday latest!
