xmas already?

had a rare trip to Brent Cross today as wanted to look for a new dress for my retirement dinner later this week. I hadn't realised that 1) its now xmas and 2) we're still in the 70's fashion wise! 
All the dresses seem to be rather flouncy , flowery with puffy sleeves or rather long. The alternative was very short and covered in sequins. Neither looks really suit me so ended up getting a new top instead .
