WidWed...........numerous
And here are numerous vines here in this rather gorgeous vineyard. We are at Aravina which I have blipped before because it's so pretty.
I have added an extra for isbi who couldn't find any numerous sheep on her property.
I have a story to relate from yesterday. I forgot last night......
The meerkat aka Saffie, escaped yesterday and bolted towards the neighbours house because she loves their puppy who is about 10 months old but she is a BIG puppy, an Australian shepherd. Unbeknown to Saffie, Snowy was here at our place. Nevertheless, she popped into the family room looking for her friend, scaring the enormous persian cat who was asleep on the couch. Well, the cat launched herself at the meerkat, landed on her back and rode the screaming puppy out the doors and around the verandah!! (The next neighbour told us today that he thought a dog had been hit by a car such was the screaming, yelping noise!!!! ) The Driver and I were moving as quickly as is possible now (we're old you know). Poor Kris who owns cat and dog ended up with lacerations on her legs after intervening. Saffie had a few puncture wounds in various parts of her body. Fortunately not her eyes........
For the rest of the day I was really worried because every time Saffie dozed off she was crying and when I touched her she cried. She was lacking energy, sleepy but not off her food. I was tempted to visit the vet but the Driver reckoned she was just traumatised...........he was correct. She's perfectly normal today.
Thought you might get some amusement from the sad tale of the inquisitive puppy ;-))
