Four months in and the foundations are in for what to me looks like a small hotel. Chatting to some of the guys on site, I learned that it is actually a single family home, must be a large family!

An unpleasant start to a meeting with an irate client finished way better than we anticipated. She is more irate at her own people than us, but instead of taking her fury out on them, we all got a tongue lashing. Of course once she calmed down, we were all expected to be best friends again. Thankfully I only have to deal with her on a rare occasion. No wonder she has a high turnover of staff.

A quieter afternoon followed with a visit to June’s home to assess how long it will take us to pack up what we’re her worldly possessions, now donated to the APD. Another job that I am not looking forward to, but our beneficiaries will be happy to receive some home comforts in time for Christmas.
