Branching out

On the way back from a short bike ride this morning. i spotted this. It took me a moment to work out what was attracting my attention.

The branch of the tree (recently felled) had grown through and around the railing.

I've seen this sort of thing before, however, the wag who felled the tree must have had a sense of humour to cut either side of the rail and leave a bit insitu.

And it was kind of colourful too!
