Early morning action at Beam weir

Nearly home during my morning exercise I watched a heron capture a trout, next 2 cormorants landed in the tail of the pool before diving down in search of breakfast.
Auntie still in hospital, no change, no diagnosis. Cousin H visited her mum on her way back to Bristol and home for a day or so.
