Plainfield Rail Trail ...

... chipmunk.

As we have had multiple walks at Housenick park this week we opted to go to Plainfield Rail Trail today.  The weather was cold and blustery and the rail trail is somewhat protected from the winds ... which makes for a slightly warmer walk than elsewhere. 

Just about the only wildlife ... if you don't count the two legged variety ... we saw were a couple of chipmunks.  This one has a mouthful of leaves ... probably to either pad his/her burrow or to pack up the hole to said burrow.  Time to hibernate!  Sorry for the branches in front but I couldn't get a clearer shot.
