You wouldn't believe I swept up all the leaves and put them in the recycling bin last night.
It was covered again when I got up - but I didn't get the chance to sweep them up before heading off to Bags' to watch the monsters and let her and hubby get off to work. There was no problem from the monsters as they got themselves ready and made their lunches before heading off. 
I then headed off to do a bit of shopping.
Would you believe that a major shopping chain remove all stocks of creme fraiche jut so they can put up a dozen different types of 'speciality' creams for 'that' day?

In the afternoon we were back at Bags' place for the monsters coming home from school.
The Cygnet challenged me to a game of chess. I didn't rate my chances very high a I haven't played in donkeys years. However, I did win (well - he conceded) which came as a real surprise.

So much for my exciting day.
