Light Through the Trees

The sun is getting lower and lower in the southern sky as we edge our way to the winter solstice.  At this time of year, it comes through the trees and lights up the last of the autumn leaves raking long shadows across the frost covered grass.  The first snow has held off, for now, and I am quite happy with that.
