Seal Hunting

We went to Newburgh beach today expecting to see the resident seals. Today they were not in residence. Not a seal in sight.

As we were here we had a walk along the beach. There was a howling gale so it was not especially pleasant. As we were returning along the beach towards the car park several people asked us if we had seen the seals in the direction from which we had come. Disappointingly we had not. We did see quite a few golfers though.

We decided to leave Newburgh and head over to Cruden Bay. Here we found a few kite surfers, well it was certainly the weather for them. Plenty of wind to give them a strong pull over the waves.
