I'd legged it round town buying presents, and couldn't resist a little photographic one for myself, so I eventually got a seat up in a cafe at Bruntsfield where I did the blip.
Home to work on my set of tunes, and then oot- firstly to the Apartment and then down to the Filmhouse to see Good Vibrations, the film about Terri Hooley, the owner of a punk record store in Belfast in the 70s (and briefly manager of the Undertones). A bit clunky and obvious at times, but some good authenticity in there too. AND I was still home in time for Match of the Day, and a bottle of ... Punk IPA, what else?
