Emergency Earring Blip!

Despite a day full of people, the only photo I have is this phone pic!
My day began with errands, happily interrupted by Sole who fancied a catch up. I say it every time, but time with that woman is time so well spent. I always come away feeling uplifted, challenged, and somehow improved by her. She's quite a one-off. She gave me a coat someone gave her but it's too long (for her, not me!)...
As I left her and went to go get school stuff for Nate (all families have to provide a new book a year to create a library), Todd messaged asking if I'd got time to see him. So so good to sit with him...his family are going through the shock of a very sudden death of a close friend. He also wanted to ask me if Asha could make earrings for his family in the States (blipped!) which we'll go send tomorrow...he wants someone to walk him through the postal system here.
Danny went off to prison this afternoon and Maaret, a lovely Swedish lady from the English Speaking church, came over for a cup of tea and chat. She's offered to take on the task of creating Christmas gifts for the homeless friends. It's a task I'm very very happy for her to take on and do!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A day full of unexpected coffees and people.
2) Lots of chat with my sister.
3) Happy kids - both full of enthusiasm after school.
