Motionless
I never cease to be surprised by the fact that I’m still discovering new areas to photograph - despite living in the area for over 40 years.
Visitors to my journal will be familiar with views across the Conwy estuary, but this is the first time I’ve blipped the river from behind the walled town. Out of season - and on a weekday, this is another place to gaze and meditate - silent, deserted, still. A lone fishing boat floats on the mirrored water, held in the reflection of a perfect castle turret - too perfect to be real, of course, this being part of the Victorian folly railway bridge.
Beyond this, the river flows on to the sea - though here today, it seems to stand completely motionless.
