Together We Are Stronger

We went down to Yeovil today to do some more C…….. shopping and called in at the local Wetherspoon’s for lunch. Opposite the pub this display of posters caught my eye.

During lockdown local artist Natasha Rand interviewed local care home residents and care workers about how they were coping, their lives and how they’d coped with difficult situations in the past. She also asked what advice they’d give to young people about being resilient. These posters show some of the advice the gave.

Below is a link to the project website and the podcasts of the interviews. I’ve only had time to listen to the first one with Irene. It’s just 5 minutes long, both entertaining and heartwarming and definitely worth 5 minutes of your time. I’m looking forward to listening to the others.
