Greek club, Cairo, with my neighbour

Enjoyed a lazy morning in the (obscured by smoke) sun on the balcony before I headed out to meet a friend. On the way I stopped at Flamenco Bakery to buy a Danish as I used to do. I eventually secured it in a paper bag, not box with doily - after a battle! It’s all about appearances here.
Had a lovely chat with Gretchen in a new cafe, then met S for lunch - she’s happily married now and so good to catch up.
Dinner was as the picture - my neighbour has aged but still full of energy. Enjoyed a walk around Downtown after and taxi home to rest my weary legs, after doing a bit of shopping in Zamalek. Another good day.
