charles tie right - or not...

today, the last item i need for the wedding arrived - my tie from charles tyrwhitt.
i'd chosen it from their on-line catalogue and the gold and raddish colour scheme looked to be perfect. and even when it was £32.50!, it was handmade italian silk, and it was for our special day etc....
there are no two ways about it, the tie is fantastically well made and has a couple of lovely touches - the way the lining material is stitched in etc. - but gold and raddish (with very small, and un-mentioned in the catalogue pale blue stripes) just look terrible together!

not sure what i'll wear now, but lesson learnt. don't try to match colours on the internet and if you do, have the thing delivered for than 4 days before your wedding!
