Coco frio

There is this guy with a pickup truck who sets up at the beach each day with about 40 coconuts in a chest of water and ice. For 20 pesos (about $1.70 USD), he will risk life, limb and fingers as he wields his machete to slice off the top to make the cool refreshing coconut water accessible. Then after one has drunk it all, he will slice it open (again with his machete), and scrape out the coconut meat. He is an entrepreneur, and we are pleased to support his sales efforts.
