Shades of Autumn

Middle son Matthew stayed the night last night. He was at his cricket clubs annual dinner and awards ceremony that he had organised. He had already played rugby earlier in the day.

We had a brief catch up this morning before he returned home and we went Orienteering at Esholt Woods. An enjoyable ride through Wharfedale to get there. Unfortunately our second control had the wrong code. Richard returned to the start to alert them of the problem. He set off again only to find a youngster on the yellow course totally confused. Our control had been switched with her control. So again returned to alert the organisers of the problem. By which stage he decided that enough was enough and returned to the car.

Called in to arrange measurement and a quote for the carpet.

So just a quick photo of the changing shades of the Beech trees round the castle.
