Ovaa

The Ovaa, the shamanic Siberian altar, signifies the cup of Creation. It is consecrated to the Earth's Spirit who here it lives. It is alive and breaths.

What a great find out walking out in the middle of a high alpine field  above Vetan with Mr. JC today.  Thankfully there was a sign telling us what it is...  the strangeness of finding it.  Mr JC thought it was some kind of tomb.  I wasn't too sure myself.

This Ovaa was built by Ai-Tchourek Ojun, a tuvinian shaman, in 1999 with the Cultural Center Where The Eagles Fly.
