(319) Glaur

Only a couple of weeks ago this track was quite dry and solid but that wasn't the case today. It might not look it but much of the track had turned to mud, half of which was hidden under fallen leaves, and although the mountain bike would be fine along here, the Tricross wasn't very happy in the mucky stuff with tyres much better suited to tarmac. Either way, it was good to be out and I worked up an appetitive for dinner. 

I was recently given a kitchen gadget for making pies, mostly as a joke, but it does actually do a decent job. I try and avoid posting food photos but I'm going to make an exception today for the home-made steak & ale pie, made with Fraoch heather ale and with haggis added to the filling just for the sake of it.
