Unclaimed

This little fellow has lain unclaimed on the bench for quite a while, passed today as we went the long way round to get the papers.

This afternoon I worked on a talk I will be giving to the local u3a history group the week after next - I'm looking forward to this as opportunities for speaking are less frequent these days and it is actually something I enjoy. 

High drama in the kitchen tonight when I dropped the contained with the reheated leftover mince from last night. It landed the right way up but the force with which it landed meant splatters everywhere - floor, walls and ceiling. Fortunately there was still enough to eat.
