New beginnings..

I began the day cleaning the new picnic set. I love it. Compare it to the one that was stolen, on my blip from earlier this year on 27th April.

Caught up with The Archers, and cleaned the bathroom, plus a load of washing rushed through to get dried before the radiator goes! I stopped at 11 to watch the Rememberance Day service. Jon got back from archery, followed by his remembrance service with Sheringham scouts, at around 11.45 so we all had a late coffee together. Mollie and Henry took down the shelves and pan hanging thing. I've added a wide angle photo of that side of the room for comparisons later on.

Then we drove into Cromer to check out paint colours, tiles and flooring for the dining room part of the new kitchen. It was relatively easy to choose things we wanted, and we came away with a tin of paint and two new hanging ceiling light fittings, which I need to buy shades for.

After a late lunch, I at last got round to so.e sewing projects. I've managed to cut out 3 bags ready to sew, and another nearly ready. I'll sew those this week, hopefully. With 24 small mouse frames and 5 large ones already made, I am not rushing to do any more just yet. Focusing on bags and purses this week. Oh, and the kitchen!!

Dan came round for dinner. Mollie cooked a nice sweet and sour chicken with noodles. We discussed family Christmas pyjamas.....the boys were not overly enthused! I have done barely any Christmas shopping and it I know I am going to start getting panicky soon. Time to make a seasonal shopping list. At least I have the turkey....just hope I have a kitchen!
