On an adventure to Barnoldswick today taking in the high roads through, and above, Lothersdale and stopping in Gargrave for poached eggs on toast. Perfect!

I thought of midgeholedave, a transport expert in my mind, when I saw the huge Rolls-Royce factory in Barnoldswick although further research tells me the site manufactures aeroplane engine blades...not motors!
