Radiant

Struggling for a blip today. It is a day of rest. Literally. I cut the grass and trimmed the edges, hopefully for the last time this year. But have done little else. Still coming down from a full on day at the Classic Car Show yesterday. Brmmm, brmm.

The image is a strange one. Why have I not noticed the potential before? 

My wife bought the lamp from Dunelm about 18 months ago. The figurines were bought for a friend who did not want them (fool) so we kept them. Result!

The little framed  picture is a mono photo of my lovely mum on her wedding day. Looking radiant. Her father, my grandfather looking resplendent in his demob suit, having served in both wars. He saw service as a stoker in the navy. 'nuff said, a most unsafe and unpleasant environment. He was lucky to survive.

Two weeks to go till the Big Cat Day. Ho, ho... It' s getting real now. 

Tomorrow the building work continues. Early to bed tonight..
