Year 2 Day 236 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK/World Vaccine 340 days ago.  UK open. Overseas travel with restrictions.

A dry overcast day, we enjoyed a lay in before setting off from home for a walk to Symonds Yat (East) alongside the River Wye, to Lydbrook and across the pedestrian footbridge to Welsh Bicknor and back to our village. The blipfoto is taken of The Old Cable Works, Stowfield, Lydbrook (Gloucestershire) which is a long way from its glory years just after the turn of the last century to the mid '60's. It's suffered a fire, partially demolished and now has a few factory units, one being Getting Sheet Done!

It's a contrast to the beautiful surroundings of The Wye Valley so I've posted it ultra-wide to show it contrasted against the Autumnal colours.
