For an exercise in an on-line course I have been following on and off for a while. This was about using a wide angle lens and getting close to the foreground element(s) to exaggerate the apparent depth.   I thought the clouds added a little to that as well as the large post.

The main cafe at Charlecote was closed and the queue in the old orangery was moving slowly, so we decamped to the garden centre, where the queue was about as bad but with the addition of C~#@#~@s muzak.  We gave up and went home!

For the avoidance of doubt - I don't mind Christmas itself,  but Walking in a Winter Wonderland in  lounge lizzard style should be a crime!
