Post Early for C....mas

A couple weeks ago I decided to buy a battery charger with rechargeable batteries for my radio. Ordered on 31October and delivered lunchtime today, Sunday, almost two weeks later!. I had just organised refund from the seller an hour earlier!! The delivery driver blamed staff shortages
Morale of story, post early for C'mas. 
Even cards are severely delayed, especially to Australia...a no show for my son's birthday card early this month! His to me in June  took almost three months!!
Crazy world.
..I'm having a lazy day, chatted briefly to G in Jersey and much  longer to D in Lincoln
