Tropical Essex...

Where Bearded Irises flower in November! Madness! I've been watching this bud for the past week wondering if it would make it into full bloom! And today it opened and looks gorgeous!

More bulb planting in the garden today, and overwintering some dahlias too.  Still very mild but a grey day with a bit of drizzle about. A very still day today, eerily quiet at times and even the birds stayed quiet for the 2 minutes silence at 11am for Remembrance Sunday.
