Waiting to fall

The little winter flowering cherry is rapidly loosing all its leaves. A decent windy day will take the majority of the rest, and the garden won't look quite so colourful.  Still the great thing is, that it will then start to flower - making this one of my favourite ornamental trees.

I'm definitely feeling much more like my normal self now, 48 hours after my booster jab.  Good to know that in about 3 weeks time the antibodies will be back on duty manning the castle walls ready for the Covid Delta Variant Rock Trolls as one article about virus immunity rather engagingly described it today.
