Bookclub celebrations

End of year events are starting before everyone thinks of their main holiday for the year, Covid permitting of course.

Today’s was the last Bookclub of the year, at the home of a local musician who played beautiful music while we ate brunch on the patio.

Everyone contributed something to the meal, and I was asked to do the “Scottish Cocktail”, but thinking that might be a bit heavy for a 10am start, I opted for a Candy Floss Fizz. It consists of lime juice, bitters, topped with champagne, into which you drop the candy floss. It was fun, and tasted great too.
