Here we go again...

Today was the first Saturday market of 2013. Every Saturday from today until Thanksgiving, the Saturday market will be set up in Centennial Park, and our island becomes so much busier. I couldn't believe how busy it was today! This is a great tourist attraction - you can find crafts, produce, plants, sweets, bread, clothing, accessories, musicians, characters - on and on - the variety is amazing. It was challenging to take photos today because there were so many people, but I managed to get quite a few and posted them here so that you can get an idea of what's available at the market - all this and much more - if you're interested in having a look. I couldn't decide on a photo that represents the market and just went with this one. What a beautiful day it is! The blossoms are out in the park - and it really is a lovely location for a market.
We never go to town on Saturdays unless we have guests who want to take in the market. It's difficult to find parking spaces, and I really do not like crowds of people. The market is good for the island economy though.
