We celebrated my niece’s 14th birthday today with a trip to a water park, fish and chips and excellent ice cream for Notarianni’s (recently featured on The Hairy Bikers). We rounded the day off with a drive down the illuminations. All in all, a very satisfying trip down memory lane with my sisters and our small people. Blackpool is strange to visit (on account of its descent into downmarket Vegas vibes) but I have a certain affection for it.
